Yep, that’s me!

One day when I was 17-years-old my mom turned to me and said: “Go get a job!” I tried, but I hated everything I submitted my application to.  So I decided to open a restaurant instead. Seemed logical. I mean, entrepreneurs make tons of money and hardly work, right?

70 hour weeks, firing people twice my age, no sleep, and FOMO was a clear punch to the face.

It all worked out in the end, I graduated from my undergrad with no debt and got to travel Australia for a year.  It was a good stepping stone to what would become my life’s career as an entrepreneur.

From Restaurateur to Agency Owner.

Somewhere along the way, I got a taste of the agency life. I was always interested in marketing and PR, but never thought I would launch a communications company, let alone start and sell another one. My previous agency,  Onboardly, a company that worked with funded technology startups from all over the world to help them get media coverage, was my biggest step towards a million dollar venture.  It was a heck of a lot of fun, but in the end, after doing some deep deep soul work, I realized it was no longer my mission.

Perhaps it was the PTSD from having two babies within 11 months of each other, or the unhealthy living style, or the sleepless nights, that finally took its toll. Along that journey, I started to become guided by a much brighter light, one that would lead me to launching the Family Academy.

This felt (and still feels) so good. It was my calling. I could tell by the way I spoke about it back then (on a boat at Summit at Sea amongst other incredible world changers) that this was what I needed to do.

He saw my worst and he stayed!

I married an entrepreneur (Dan Martell). This guy pushes me to reach for the stars. If he isn’t motivating me to crush it at CrossFit, then he is helping coordinate a solid meal plan or encouraging me to speak at another event. Go go go!  Or JFDI as he says
