Mini Maker Workshop (Canada)

  • Venn Innovation Centre 735 Main Street, #201 Moncton, NB Canada (map)

Raise your kids with an entrepreneur mindset and they will change the world.

"Your greatest contribution ... may not be something you do, but someone you raise." - Andy Stanley.

The Mini Maker Workshop is designed for young kids to learn the basics of entrepreneurship. Preschool and early grade students don’t often have access to the necessary resources, environments or curriculum when it comes to entrepreneurship. Most programs are designed for older kids. While most of us understand entrepreneurship as being in the thick of running a business, the reality is that the foundation for success starts long before most even open their doors. It starts with creating a mindset that favors growth, a mind that is naturally curious and a heart for creativity. It extends to being an artist, to believing in success but growing through failures, and ultimately in seeing the world through a different lens.

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” - Pablo Picasso

The Mini Maker Workshop will be an exciting afternoon for your child and a true learning experience for the whole family.

Who is this for:
Girls and boys between the ages of 4 and 6 who are naturally curious, are excited to learn about what it’s like to start and run a business and want to excel at everything they do.

The outcome:
Your child will walk away having learned:

  1. Entrepreneurial mindset skills like the difference between a fixed and a growth mindset and how that applies to everyday life,
  2. What a business is and how they operate,
  3. How to be more curious,
  4. Why being an artist is important and how to harness your inner Picasso,
  5. How to start their very own lemonade stand,
  6. A super fun time taught by experts and applied through play.
